Publishing recognition for SHIFT

We’re delighted to share that our SHIFT Framework is receiving worldwide publishing recognition as part of Professor Jonathan Passmore’s new book Coaching Tools due to be published in April this year.

Having been recognised by Henley business school as transformative and cutting edge, SHIFT will be included in Jonathan’s new book which is being specifically written to share the latest leading thinking to support coaches. Jonathan is an internationally respected psychologist and coach who has written over 30 books whilst also working with leaders across business, politics and the public sector to help them improve performance.

Developed with one of our associates Matt as part of our research portfolio, SHIFT supports leaders with practical tools to enhance strategic thinking and adapt their mindset when facing complex challenges. Focusing on adaptability, the SHIFT framework is influenced by systems-thinking, transformational coaching perspectives on the value of purpose, and Paul Maclean’s neuroscientific theory of the Triune Brain.

SHIFT considers the ongoing challenge organisations face for individuals to adapt and change and it pulls together award-winning work Matt completed on the brain for his PhD with studies Rebecca has previously explored on the practical challenges that executives and humanity alike face with their struggle to adapt and change. By bringing further insight from multiple global change projects and their specialisms in behavioural change Rebecca and Matt worked together using their shared knowledge and building on the latest thinking from thought leaders to create a new model that doesn’t just share the theory but gives you an extensive toolkit to try. Our premise is that you are the expert on you. Individuals are invited to use the SHIFT framework to find out what works for them.

Having already launched successfully with early adopters the Co-op, we are now sharing the SHIFT framework with wider FTSE 250 clients. You can read more details on the SHIFT framework here or contact us here if you’d like more information about how we can improve adaptability in your organisation.
